Conservation of a residential and commercial building built in the 1930s, with about 50 apartments and around 17 businesses on the ground floor. The structure has been kept in its original condition other than small changes and closing balconies. The building was marked for conservation and includes a complete overhaul of the facades in accordance with original designs, and the addition of two elevators in the inner courtyard, as well as conservation of the four stairwells. Plans include renewing the infrastructure for apartments. The openings will be restored according to documentation – details of carpentry and unique frames. The concrete details that adorn the facades in the Art Deco style will be restored and the building will be painted in its original shades according to a shade survey. The inner courtyard will be restored according to plans by Landscape Architect Tal Katzir.
